Tres Bon Fashion Show

Well...the Consignment Show was a smash success! We drew 100 excited women to this FREE event. The intention of the event was to demonstrate and celebrate the "art of recycling and consignment" as a means to wardrobing and accessorizing the body and the home!

I collaborated with lovely, Emily Wilson, of Joyful Furniture in Boulder. We shared a vision of the importance and FUN of recycing. We made Emily into our LIVE MAKEOVER model and introduced her at the beginning of the show as a visual to our audience of the "before" and "after" results after hair styling, make up and wardrobe assitance. Emily loved it and so did the audience.

I assisted 10 models ages 17-77 with their outfits for the Fashion Show with the support of 5 local Consignment shops who loaned us the clothes for the event. I described each item, brand name, Consignment Shop and price and shared something personal about each model to show the audience the important of connecting the personality to the choice in clothing!

I also offered 10 minutes of Style Tips and opened a "question and answer" session. Cindy Cruz Mazzei, our makeup artist (she hales from Los Angeles and has worked on many movie stars!) was introduced and Mary Kay Gilson, (Tresca Hair Salon) who does Organic Hair color, also shared some tips! Women were invited to shop from the participating vendors. We had Susan Melching Skincare, Glow Beauty, Shop Goldyn Online (with some incredible vintage and new samples), Threads Consignment in Erie and the Hand and Glove Shop from Breckenridge as well as 2 jewelry reps, Silpada and Purse Pins.

We got a lot of great feedback and have been asked, "when is the next one?!" Stay tuned!

Bonnie - Tres Bon!
